Donald Lee Caldwell

Donald Lee Caldwell of Ranger, WV, son of the late Thurman and Viola (Cyfers) Caldwell passed away at the age of 76 at his home Wednesday, September 30, 2026. He was born November 24, 1949 in Kiahsville, WV. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Thomas, Herbert (Armilda), Buster and Thurman Jr and sisters Etta Jean Sias (Collie), Irene Wiley, and Mary Dean (Naris).

He is survived by his brother and best friend Jackie Caldwell, brother-in-law Archie Wiley; sisters-in-law, Sharon Caldwell, Pansie Caldwell, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that he loved dearly. Donald hobbies were hunting, gardening and playing music.

Funeral services will be 2:00pm Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at Montana Freewill Baptist Church, Ranger, WV with Preacher Benny Dale Dean officiating. Burial will follow in the Pres Friley Cemetery Kiahsville, WV. A visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral. Mcghee-Handley Funeral Home, West Hamlin, WV is in charge of arrangements.
