Born to Ervin and Bertha Lucas, whom she loved dearly. Jean was instilled with a deep sense of love and compassion from an early age. Her childhood and life was spent in the embrace of West Virginia. She was filled with the warmth and closeness of her family.
Though preceded in death by her sisters, Judy Adkins of Michigan and Betty Watson of the Chesapeake, Oh. Region, Jean carried their memories close to her heart, cherishing the times they shared.
Jean's life was a tapestry woven with love, faith, and creativity. As a devoted member of the Uneeda Church of Christ, her faith was the cornerstone of her life. She found immense joy in the fellowship and support of her church family, who will remember her gentle spirit and unwavering devotion.
Her hands were never idle, always busy with a quilt or knitting needles, creating beautiful works of art that were given as tokens of love to family and friends. Jean's creativity was a reflection of her generous heart, as she found happiness in giving and sharing with those around her.
Jean's legacy lives on through her loving family. She is survived by her devoted son, Roger Price and his wife, Joyce of Uneeda, WV; her cherished grandchildren, Chris Price and his wife, Glenna, of Leesville, SC., and Amie Lee and her husband James of Surprise, AZ. One great grand-daughter, Danyell Harris and husband Marshay of Surprise, AZ., and two great-great- grandsons, Aasyiah and Mesyiah Harris also of Surprise, AZ. And many nieces and nephews who carry forward the values and love she imparted.
