Carol Jo Boner

Carol Jo Boner, 84, of Hamlin, WV passed away peacefully on October 20, 2026.  Carol was born to the late Bernie and Louise Roberts.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved brother, Jackie "Jack" Eugene Roberts.  Carol dedicated more than 30 years of service to the state of West Virginia before her retirement.  She was a hardworking, independent woman who valued her family.  She had a lifelong love of animals, especially cats, and always held a special place in her heart for her feline companions.  Whether enjoying time at home, enjoying the outdoors, or caring for her beloved pets, Carol found happiness in the familiar comforts of everyday life.  Carol will be remembered for her independent spirit, her determination, and the love she had for those closest to her.  She is survived by her loving son, Chiristopher Jason Boner, and his spouse, Jesse of Durham, NC; her sister-in-law, Annette "Jo" Roberts of Hampton, VA and her beloved cat Dumpling Ann, who continues to be lovingly cared for.  Carol's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
