Ray Junior Frye

Ray Junior Frye, 73, of Danville, WV passed away Friday, October 16, 2026 at Boone Memorial Hospital, Madison, WV.

He was born preceded in death by his father and mother Floyd and Ruth Frye; son Billy Joe Frye; five brothers Ronnie Lee Fry, Edward Frye, Darrell Frye, Charles Frye and Roger Frye; three sisters JoAnn Carper, Mary Ann Parker and Barbara Sue Burger.

He leaves behind a lifelong companion and friend, Lorrie Stollings; two sons, Teddy Ray (Cynthia) Frye and Bobby Gene Frye; grandkids, Kodie (Kayla) Payne, Dylan Frye, Billie Jo Frye, and Emma Frye; great grandkids, Olivia Watson and John Luke Payne; one brother, Danny Frye (Tiffany Plumley) of Harts; three sisters, Myrtle Lawrence of Griffithsville, Karen Maynard of West Hamlin and Mavis E. (Rick) Ward of Huntington, WV; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 21, 2026 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV with Donald Kerns officiating. Burial will follow in Family Gardens, Low Gap Rd. Danville, WV. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
