Roger Dale Baldwin Sr., 67, of Powell Creek, WV formerly of Blair, WV gained his wings on March 1, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents Hassel and Lydia Baldwin; two brothers Eugene Baldwin and Dallas Baldwin; and one sister Barbara Horton. He was a member of Monclo Freewill Baptist Church, Sharples, WV. He was a retired coal miner of 28 years. He loved fishing, hunting, riding, and working on trucks and was a big CB Radio fan. Roger loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Alice Faye Baldwin; daughter, Tina Faye Baldwin; son, Roger Dale Baldwin Jr. (Lynnett Fletcher); grandson, Tyler Dale Baldwin; granddaughters, Chelsey Lynn Baldwin and Leah Jo Baldwin; sisters, Sue Baldwin William Robinette and Geraldine Frye (David Rawhead); brother, Larry (Daphne) Baldwin; brother-in-law, Raymond Burgess; sister-in-law, Betty Castle; and many aunts, uncles, and friends. His wishes were to be cremated. Service will be 2 p.m. Monday, March 7, 2022 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV with Rev. Joe Lane officiating. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. until service time.
