Edsel Ray Hager

Edsel Ray Hager, age 93 passed away on May 21, 2025, at Huntington Health Rehab.

Edsel was born to the late Arthur Dewitt Hager and Gracie Hager on May 2, 1932. He is also preceded in death by his first wife Alma Hager, daughters Barbara Jean Adkins and Joy Ray and second wife Jeanette Hager.

The surviving family keeping his memory alive are daughters Anna Jean Prichard (Rusty), and Tomi Jo Posey; grandchildren James Adkins, Kenny Holton, Miranda Moore, Megan Posey, Mearan Alcorn, Alex Prichard, Aurora Neace, Spring Poe; great grandchildren Tori Adkins-Rind, Jasmine Adkins, Ivy Moore, Laurel Moore, Isabella Holton and Logan Holton ; great-great grandchildren Ember Adkins-Rind and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday May 28, 2025, at Handley Funeral Home, Hamlin WV. Visitation will be from 1p.m. until time of service. Burial will follow at Lincoln Memorial Park, Hamlin, WV.
