Mildred Welch

Mildred Marie Welch age 91 was born to the late Ashby and Alma Green Cook. She is proceeded in death by her husband, Dewey E Welch, daughter Sharon M Welch.  Mildred Welch passed away on June 22, 2025.

She is survived by her daughter Deborah Welch Jarrell (Allen Wayne Jarrell), grandson Allen C Jarrell, granddaughter Stephanie D Raymond (Jonathan A. Raymond), great granddaughter Sydney L. Raymond, great grandson Brock A. Delaney (Jada Moore), great-great granddaughter Grace Ivy Delaney, and brother Bernie L Cook (Julie Cook)

A dear friend of our family, Shelia Dobson stayed with mom on numerous occasions to help out. My mom loved Shelia. Mom has several nieces and nephews. Marilyn Camden a special niece was like a sister to her. They spoke on the phone every day. Brenda Pauley a special niece spoke to Mom regularly to check on her. Cindy Jeckel a special niece kept in touch with Mom. Thank you all for loving her.

Millie was the heart and soul of our family. Her kitchen was the gathering place for Sunday dinners, holidays, gatherings, and daily visits from friends and family. Millie was a great cook. She especially loved baking. Her Italian cream cake and red velvet cake were absolutely delicious. Millie‘s unconditional love for everyone reflects what a special person she was.

A graveside service is scheduled for Saturday, July 12, at 2 p.m. at Memory Gardens in Low Gap, WV with Tim Spratt Officiating.
