William "Bill" Edward Kinser
January 20, 1949 — November 13, 2020
William (Bill) Edward Kinser, 71, of Lake WV, passed away peacefully Friday morning in Cleveland Clinic Hospital surrounded by family.
He was preceded in death by his father Ed Kinser and mother Nell (McConnell ) Kinser; and sister Vicky (Kinser) Dolin.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Sandra Ellen Kinser; his son Matthew Kinser; and daughter Stacy (Kinser) Felty. Also his brothers Ricky and Ronnie Kinser; and sister Donna.
Bill was a loving father and husband, who would do anything for his family and friends. He was also a proud Army Veteran (Sgt), who served two tours in Vietnam and received the Bronze Star, Purple Heart (etc) for his actions.
He was also a proud coal miner of 45+ years, who sacrificed as much in time and health to make sure his family was provided and cared for. He was the hardest working man we can remember.
Bill had a love of cars & trucks and enjoyed being active doing things around his property. He liked traveling, watching movies, and enjoying time just sitting around a good fire with family and friends.
We can only hope when we are alive that we have those around who love us, and in the end those people are with us, and keep us in their hearts and memories. Bill had many people in his life that cared for him, and we will all miss him greatly. May God bless him on his journey. We will all love and miss him always. 1/20/1949 - 11/13/2020
Service will be 11 a.m. Friday, November 20 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Chapmanville at a later date with military graveside rites performed by Daniel Boone VFW Post 5578 of Madison, West Virginia.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, CDC guidelines will be observed, with mask and social distancing encouraged.
