William Barry Griffith, 67, of Pawleys Island, South Carolina, passed away on November 14, 2025. Born and raised in Bloomingrose, West Virginia, Barry was a 1976 graduate of Sherman High School.
He retired from Union Carbide after 27 years of dedicated service. Barry's greatest passion was ministry—he served as a youth pastor at the Grand Strand Church of Christ as well as the Georgetown Church of Christ, where his faith and guidance touched countless lives.
Barry was preceded in death by his father, William Jack Griffith; his wife, Vikki Griffith; and his wife, Jenny Griffith.
He is survived by his mother, Jean Griffith of Bloomingrose; his children;
Carrie Griffith Reeves (David) of Charleston; Jeffrey Griffith (Andrea of Fairborn, Ohio; Aaron Williams of Leavenworth, Kansas and Ami Williams Main (Kenny) of Morgantown. He is also survived by his sisters, Joan Hill of Bloomingrose; Diane Perdue of Surfside Beach, South Carolina; and Jill Griffith Goodwin (Matt) of Bloomingrose.
Barry leaves behind grandsons Alex Griffith, Aidan Schon, Gabriel Schon, and Judah Schon; granddaughters Alyssa Williams and Isabella Williams; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.

Visitation will be held at the Bloomingrose Church of Christ on Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 AM, officiated by Dan Hager. Burial will follow in Pineview Cemetery, Orgas. Handley Funeral Home, Danville, is in charge of arrangements.

Barry will be remembered for his unwavering faith, devotion to family, and his heart for helping others. His kindness and leadership will continue to inspire all who knew him.
