Wanda Laurene Sutphin, 83, of Bigson, WV passed from this life December 1, 2025.

She was born November 12, 1942.

Family members proceeding her in death are her parents, Robert and Opal Halley; her ex-husband, Tommy Sutphin; siblings Herman, Clifford and Charles Halley, Joyce Halley, Phyllis Liddell, Faye Stone, Leona Halley and Geneva Warden; granddaughter, Racheal Sutphin; and great-grandchild, Everett Marcum.

Surviving her are her siblings, James Halley, Larry Halley and Yvonne Cremeans; her children, William Sutphin, Penny (Ralph) Kinder and Pamela (Jess) Bias; grandchildren, Jennifer Mullins, Leonard (Sarah) Marcum, Jeffrey (Stacie) Kinder, Elisha (Steven) Boettcher, Thomas Sutphin, and  Curtis Sutphin; 21 great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, and Dave, whom she stated was her “adopted other son.” She is also survived by a vast host of nieces, nephews and church friends.

Services for Wanda will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 5, 2025 at Prayer Connection Lighthouse in Danville, WV with Mark Meeker officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial to follow at Mid-Ferrell Cemetery in Bandytown, WV.
