Virginia Pauline Hager, 94, of Madison died January 27, 2013 at Boone Memorial Hospital, Madison.
She was the wife of the late Ona R. Hager; and was a daughter of the late Delmer and Minnie Hager.
She is survived by her sons, Clarence “Sonny” and John Douglas Hager of Hewett; and daughter, Patricia Bratcher of St. Albans; sister, Nelda Howell of Hodgesville; and brother, William Hager of Hewett; grandchildren, Kimi Ball of Madison, Sherri Price of St. Albans, Clarence Hager, Jr of Foster and Douglas Ray Hager of Huntington; great-grandchildren, Jennifer Scharbach, Jon Ball, Kendra Ball and Molly, Maggie, Maddy, Chloe and Claire Price.
She was a Christian and attended Madison Baptist Church. She retired as a teacher’s aid from Ramage Elementary.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, February 1st at Hager Cemetery on Meadow Fork of Hewett with Rev. Roger McCauley officiating.
