Virginia Elizabeth Harless, 90, of Bim, went to be with the Lord on Nov. 10, 2025. She passed peacefully in her sleep with her daughter Rebecca Vint by her side.

She was born the daughter of late Albion and Grace (StClair) Pittman on November 03, 1935, at Barrett, WV and graduated Van High School in 1954. She married Marlin Harless on January 01, 1955. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; sister Betty Sexton; brother Larry Pittman; her loving husband of 59 years and eight months, Marlin Harless; beloved son Wayne Harless; and great-grandchildren Herbert Price III and Ivory Williams.

Virginia served her family as a loving wife and mother, raising her children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord, always keeping a clean and welcoming home, and from time to time even worked outside the home to help provide extra income for the family. She was a member of the Church of Christ and served the Lord by teaching children’s Bible classes, helping the needy, and edifying the saints for 60 years.

Virginia is survived by her children: daughter Rebecca and her husband Donnie Vint of Clinton Camp, daughter Wanda Kidd of Madison, son Jonathan and his wife Karyn (Zittel) Harless of Albany, OR, and daughter-in-law Mary (Brock) Harless of Zionsville, IN; 8 grandchildren Sandra (Vint) Price Deck, Nancy (Vint) Kuhn Bower, Lauren (Harless) Plett, Conner, Kimberly, Josiah, Miriam, and Malachi Harless; 3 great-grandchildren Kiersten (Vint) Perry, Frankie (Kuhn) Arthur, Drew Price; and 2 great-great-grandchildren Paisley and Grayson Price; and a host of friends.

Special thanks to the Lincoln Healthcare Center who gave compassionate care to our mother during the last months of her life.

Funeral services will be held at Handley Funeral Home located at 439 Phipps Ave. Danville, WV on November 17th – visitation at 10 AM and services will begin at 11 AM. A short graveside service will be conducted at Family Memorial Gardens Cemetery located at 814 Hudson Ln. Danville, WV.
