Virgil Raymond Eplin

 Virgil Raymond Eplin, 79, of Branchland, WV died September 6, 2024. He was born April 17, 1945 in Branchland, WV, a son of the late Wetzel and Myrtle Brunty Eplin. He was a US Army veteran. He was also preceded in death by a son, Virgil Allen Eplin; a sister, Judy Eplin; brothers, Wondel Eplin, Daniel Eplin; and a granddaughter, Amanda Pittman.

 He is survived by his wife, Wilma Eplin; daughter, Rebecca Ann Eplin; three step sons, Bobby Joe May, Robert (Dewanda) May, Steven (Barbie) May; step daughter, Laura (Russell) Pittman; brother, Vernon Eplin; grandchildren, Nicki (Crystal) May, Tasha May, Valerie Jeffers (Josh), Steven (Candance ) May Jr., Abby (Shane) Clagg, Russell Pittman Jr. (Lindsey); Many Great Grandchildren.

 Funeral services will be 2:00pm Wednesday September 11, 2024 at Handley Funeral Home, Hamlin, WV with Robert Tooley officiating. The burial will follow in the Franklin Cemetery, Branchland, WV. A visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral home.
