Vicky Lynn Burns

Vicky Lynn Mullins Burns left this world on September 2nd, 2026, and made it to her final destination, Heaven. Born on February 15th, 1951, she was preceded in death by her parents, George and Betty Mullins, her grandparents Herbert & Norma Pennington and Scott and Fanny Mullins, and her brother Jody Mullins.

Vicky is survived by her daughters, Kelly Browning (Barry) of Madison, WV, Crystal Ramsey of Charleston, WV, her brother Gary Mullins (Darlene) of Danville, WV, her granddaughters Kortney Browning (Sam) of Charleston, WV, Whitney Saffari (Cyrus) of Lexington, KY, Lexee Ramsey of Charleston, WV, and Lily Ramsey of Charleston, WV. She also adored her great grandchildren Braydon, Blaire, Ellen, Brady, and Gia Browning, as well as her many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Vicky grew up in Clothier, WV where she attended Spruce Grade School and graduated from Sharples High School. Vicky loved her family and was a dedicated homemaker and loving mother to her two daughters Kelly and Crystal. She was a talented cook and hostess who had no trouble gathering friends and family around her table. Vicky later shared her talents with others, working as a babysitter and nanny to several different families who she came to see as an extension of her own family. Vicky cherished her church family and enjoyed spending time with the congregations of Spruce Laurel and Hopewell Baptist.

Vicky will be remembered for her love of family, relationship with the Lord, caring spirit, and the pride she took in those she loved. Her presence will be deeply missed, but the love and memories she gave her family will remain with them always.

Service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 5, 2026 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV with Chris Vannatter officiating. Entombment will follow in the Garden of Devotion in Memory Gardens on Low Gap Road, Danville, WV.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday until service time.
