Veronica J. Bias

Veronica J. “Ronnie” Bias, 65, of Six Mile, WV passed away November 19, 2017. She was born September 3, 1952 and was a daughter of the late Ronald and Lucille Spencer Bias. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Remus “Skip” Ellis II; and nephew, Remus “Scooter” Ellis III.

She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Dee Dillard (Steve) of Cross Lanes, WV; sisters, Kaye Joiner (Bud) of Sparta, Illinois, and Beverly Smith of Scott Depot, WV; grandson, Danny Skeens of Six Mile, WV; granddaughter, Veronica Hunter (Misty) of South Charleston, WV; and great-grandson, Ian Skeens. She is also survived by Ryan and Tara Hager, Jill and Tim Rathert, Christy Stover, Amy and Roger Adams, Melody Ellis, Scotty Ellis, and David Ellis.

She was a homemaker and loved her dog. She liked to crochet and was an avid gardener.

A memorial will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 26 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with Rickey French officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
