Tricia Ann Stephens, of Cross Lanes, WV died peacefully after an extended illness at CAMC General hospital on Saturday, November 19, 2022 with her loved ones by her side.
Tricia was born on August 5, 1984 in Charleston, WV. She was full of life and loved fun and adventure. She gave her love wholeheartedly and was fiercely protective of those she chose to share her life with. Tricia battled a lot of health problems in her life, but her perseverance and determination helped to get her through the most difficult of times. The courage and strength that she displayed after having brain surgery last year will continue to be an inspiration to all of us in the days ahead. She will be greatly missed and there will forever be a void in our lives with her gone.
Those left to cherish her memory are her devoted partner and soul mate, Chuck Fluharty and her stepdaughter, Emma Fluharty, both of Cross Lanes, WV; her parents, Ricky and Deanna Stephens of Foster, WV; her brother and sister-in-law, Justin and Brittany Stephens of Culloden, WV; and a host of extended family members and friends.
Tricia was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Donnie and Mazie Daniels; her paternal grandparents, Jerry and Ealie Stephens; and her beloved dog, Copper.
The family has decided to say their goodbyes privately, so there will not be a funeral service at this time. However, a memorial service may be planned at a later date. As per Tricia’s wishes, her body will be cremated.
