Traci Elizabeth Linville, 44, of Danville, West Virginia, went home to be with the Lord on August 31, 2026, following an ATV accident.
Traci was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend whose kindness and caring heart touched the lives of so many. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
She leaves behind her loving parents, Gary and Julia Silva, along with her beloved sisters, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family, and countless friends who will forever cherish her memory. Traci was a devoted sister to Amber (Jereme Browning), Julia Anna (Timmy Day), Shandy Dingess (Ronnie Searls), Shana Dingess (Payton Hager), Jessi (Nick Fleming), and Josie (Haley Linville). She was a cherished aunt and was blessed with many nieces and nephews, including Jereme “Bub” Mariah Browning, Aayla Browning (Jamison Walker), Kaylee Nelson, Kadan Nelson, Aalia Browning, Conner Searls, Jace Linville, Archer Browning, Owen Fleming, Braylyn Corkhill, Ridge Day, and Brixton Hager. She was also lovingly remembered by her great-nieces and great-nephews, Oaklea Mae and Baylor Miles, and by Bentlee, a special child in her life who was like her own. Traci’s love for her family extended far beyond words, and the bonds she created with those around her will continue to live on through them.
Traci was a proud graduate of Scott High School, Class of 2000. She continued her education at West Virginia State University, where she earned a master’s degree in Special Education. Her dedication to education reflected the compassion she carried throughout her life and her desire to make a difference in the lives of others.
Traci was preceded in death by her husband, Jason Hait; grandmother, Naomi Hill; father, Greg Linville; and brother, Jeremiah Linville.
Though her time here was far too short, Traci leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, family, and devotion. Her memory will live on in every life she touched, every lesson she shared, and every moment of love she gave so freely.
She will be deeply loved, forever remembered, and greatly missed.
