Timothy Alan Akers Sr.

Timothy Alan Akers, 65, of Clothier, WV, passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2025.

He was an avid outdoorsman and a dedicated coal miner. 

Preceding Timothy in death are his father, William Akers; and brothers, Earnest and Mike Akers.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons Timothy (Sierra) Akers of Clothier, WV and Jonathan Akers of Clothier, WV; mother Margret McClure of North Fork, WV; and sister Pamela Bender. Timothy is also survived by six grandchildren. 

The family would like to give a special thank you to Timothy's caregivers, Janie Meadows and Cayla Abrams.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 9, 2025 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV with Willie Aldridge officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
