Terry Lee Lane, age 83, of Huntington, West Virginia, passed away on April 28, 2026 at Cabell Huntington Hospital after a long illness. He was born on November 16, 1942, in Wharton, West Virginia.

Terry was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Christa Kaiser Lane; his parents, Bredell and Reba Miller Lane; and his brother, Garry L. Lane.

He is survived by his daughters, Sandra (Kurt) Zabel of Huntington, West Virginia, and Nicole Lane of Columbus, Ohio; his sister, Vernell Blankenship of Mooresville, North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.

Terry proudly served his country in the United States Army with the 1st Cavalry Division during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he dedicated many years of hard work and commitment to the United States Postal Service, where he retired as a letter carrier.

He will be remembered for his service, dedication, and the quiet strength he carried throughout his life. His presence will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him.

The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors who cared for him in the ICU at Cabell Huntington Hospital, and a special thank you to his VA Caregiver Support social worker, Susan Coburn-Somon.

A veteran graveside service will be held at 2PM on May 1, 2026 at Boone Memorial Park in Madison, WV, honoring him for his dedicated service to the United States Army.
