IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Teresa Ann
Caldwell
December 17, 1952 – March 13, 2026
Visitation
Funeral Service
Teresa Ann Caldwell, 73, of Clothier, WV passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. She was born December 17, 1952, and was the daughter of Sammy and Edie Ball of Hewett, WV.
Teresa was a strong and feisty woman who lived life in her own way and held on longer than anyone thought she could, proving her strength until the very end.
Teresa was famous in her family for making her oyster dressing every holiday, a tradition that brought everyone to the table year after year. She enjoyed the simple things in life -- watching her favorite reality TV shows from the comfort of her bedroom while occasionally waving to Gary sitting nearby in the living room.
In her final days, she kept Coca-Cola and Boost shakes/juice in business and faced each day with determination, just as she always had. This lady was as tough as nails! She had a love for shopping, and never passed up a chance to buy clothes, perfume, or anything fashionable. She stayed up to date on all the trends.
Teresa and Gary shared many happy memories camping together in their camper, enjoying time together and the life they built, side by side. Over the past 4 years, as her health declined, Gary lovingly cared for her with patience and devotion, a reflection of the deep love they shared. Above all, her greatest joy in life was her grandchildren. They brought her endless pride and happiness, and she loved them deeply. Teresa will be remembered for her amazing personality, sense of humor, ability to make you laugh, her traditions, and the love she gave so freely to her family.
Teresa was preceded in death by her loving parents, Edie and Sammy Ball; her favorite son, George Gary "Bubby" Caldwell; and her siblings, Vicky, Penny, and Paul Ray Ball.
Teresa is survived by her husband of 54 years, Gary Caldwell; her daughters, Samantha (Willie) Price of Hurricane, WV and Christina (Bill) Mullins of Madison, WV; grandchildren, Chelsea (Gunner) Pauley, Rikki Lynn (Wade) Walters, Sydney (Brady) McComas, Tanner Price, Maddie Mullins, Marlie Mullins, Alex Caldwell, and Abby Thompson; great-grandchildren, Piercen Pauley, Gabby Pauley, Titus Walters, and Lyla McComas.
The family would like to say thank you to the hospice staff who were so good to Teresa and her family in this difficult time. Words could never express how much their excellent care meant and how much comfort they brought to the family.
Services for Teresa will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 19, 2026 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial to follow in Caldwell Cemetery in Danville, WV.
