Tabatha Sue Thomas

Tabatha Sue Thomas, 45, born on May 30, 1979, died May 6, 2025 suddenly at home.

She was born to Raymond Perry Sr. and Ruby Sue Long. She was raised in Boone County all of her life.

Tabatha was married to David Thomas for 17 years, later divorced. They had two children, Brittany and Joseph Thomas.

Preceding her in death is her father, Raymond Perry Sr.; brother Raymond Perry Jr.; grandparents Eugene and Dorcas McCormick, uncles Howard, Teddy, and Danny McCormick; infant granddaughter Lainey Sue Thomas.

She is survived by her mother and step-father Jim and Sue Long of Gordon, WV; son Joseph (Brooklynn) Thomas of Whitesville, WV; daughter Brittany Thomas of Coopertown, WV; aunts Charlotte Hagstrom of NC, Gladys Halstead of Prenter, WV, and Vona Brammer of Pensacola, FL; uncle Dennis (Sonji) McCormick of Peytona, WV; best friend Bucky Buckner of Bandytown, WV; eight grandchildren, Paislee, Collin, Myles, Bella, Lilah, Lydia, Roo, and Baby Ivan. She loved her grandchildren more than life and they loved her. They called her “Little Momaw.” She was always ready for a sleepover with them.

As she wished, she will be cremated and placed beside of her brother. There will be no service or visitation.
