Susan Louise Connolly, 75, of Danville, WV passed away Monday, April 20, 2026.

Susan was born in October 1950 to the late Otto and Jessica Degen. She enjoyed sewing and creating. Sue was a lover of animals and animal rescue.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters, Nancy Degen and Judith Edmonson.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Chris Connolly (Amanda) of Charleston, WV and Katie Foster (Mike) of Danville, WV, and her grandchildren, Taylor and Jordan Foster. Susan is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 23, 2026 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial to follow at Boone Memorial Park in Madison, WV.
