Steven Brandon Miller, 48, of Madison, WV, passed away Friday, May 8, 2026, in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA awaiting a double lung transplant.

He was born on January 7, 1978, in Charleston, WV to the late James Steven Miller and Rinda Ann Miller. He was a 1996 graduate of Scott High School where he played baseball, basketball and football, earning him the nickname "Foot." He worked in construction, could operate many tools and heavy machinery, and loved building things.

Left to cherish his memory is his son, Ethan Brandon Miller (Aralun) of Logan; grandson, Isaac James of Logan; girlfriend, Rachel Hunter (RaeAnna) of Madison; sisters, Stephanie Miller of Charleston and Jennifer Miller (David) of Saint Albans; brother, DJ Kuhn (Kari) of Danville; nephew, Kodie (Kendra) of Danville; his beloved dogs, Jade and Ozzy; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Brandon, as he was known, loved the Lord, being a son, brother, father, and most recently becoming a grandfather. He also loved hunting, fishing, enjoying the outdoors, and was loved by many people, friends, and family.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00pm Monday, May 18, 2026, at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV with his aunt, Rev. Kim Miller, officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial to follow in Boone Memorial Park in Madison, WV.
