Shirley Ann West, 85, of Foster, WV passed away October 31, 2021 at Hillcrest Health Care Center, Danville, WV.
She was born March 7, 1936, a daughter of the late Walter and Mildred May White. In addition to her parents he was preceded in death by several brothers and sister.
She is survived by her son, Scott West of Morrisvale; daughters, Kathy West of Foster, Sherry May of Foster, Alberta Webb of Alkol and Patty Gauze of Charleston; sisters, Bonnie Newsome of Wharton and Sue Sosebee of Van; eight grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Hillcrest Nursing and Rehab for their kindness and care of Shirley.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Mid-Ferrell Cemetery, Bandytown with Chip Frame officiating.
Handley Funeral Home in Danville is assisting the family.
