Shirley Diane McNeely

Shirley Diane McNeely, 68, of Seth, WV, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2025, at Charleston Area Medical Center after a long illness.

Shirley was a homemaker and loved to converse with her many friends, cook Sunday dinners, and care for her beloved cats.

Born July 27, 1957, she was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Ann Hager of Drawdy; maternal grandparents Gilbert and Nevada Smith of Ridgeview; and sister Mary Withrow of Drawdy.

She is survived by her husband, Larry McNeely; son, Perry Changes of Drawdy; sisters, Connie (Fred) Harless of Big Ugly, Zelda (Jimmy) Craig of Bloomingrose, and Becky (Louie) Bunting of Foster; brother, Michael Hager of Virginia; and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV with Robert Junior Perdue and Roger Halstead officiating.  Burial will follow in McNeely Cemetery, Seth, WV.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
