Sandra Dee Keeney, 87, of Danville, WV was born February 22, 1938 and passed away Saturday, January 10, 2026.

Sandra was preceded in death by her mother Lillian Stollings; grandparents Opie and Icie Stollings; husband Lawrence “Larry” Keeney Jr.; son Lawrence “Lars” Keeney III; and sister Connie Stollings.

Sandra was a graduate of Scott High School Class of 1956 and Morris Harvey College now University of Charleston, with a degree in Education. Upon graduating from Morris Harvey, she taught in several Boone County Schools and out-of-state schools; teaching 17 years at Madison Grade School.

She was a member of St. Mary’s Queen of Heaven Catholic Church.

There will be a service at a late date. Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV is assisting the family.
