Ruth Ellen Holbrook, 81, of Clothier, WV passed away in her home on March 12, 2021.
She was preceded in death by her parents Richard and Pearl Finley; and siblings Luther Muncy, Wallace Muncy, Ray Finley, Tray Finley and Mary Finley.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, James Holbrook; her daughters, Pearl Finley and Teresa Ellis; grandchildren, Jason Craft (Geonina), Linzy Spears (Kenneth) and Carly Ellis; great grandchildren, Miles Craft, Kyleah Jo Jarrell, James Jarrell and Terrence Spears; also a large family of sisters and brothers in law and her church family at Spruce Laurel Church that she loved very deeply.
Service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, March 18 at Spruce Laurel Church with Paul Little and Ralph Caudill officiating.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time.
Handley Funeral Home in Danville is assisting the family.
