Ruth Ann Cook, 72, of Madison, WV went home to be with the Lord on January 24, 2013.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret Patrick and Harold Payne; brother, James Payne; daughter, Patsy Stollings; sons, J.J. and Terry Cook; and grandson, Steven Wooten.
She is survived by sons, Lonnie (Jenni) Payne, Ralph (Tammy) Wooten, Roger (Karen) Wooten, Tony Cook, and Bobby Cook; daughters, Robin (Joe) Stephens, and Melissa (Jody) Miller; brothers, Joe (Bonnie) Payne, Charles (Carol) Payne, Bob (Becky) Payne, Harold (Peggy) Payne, John (Shirley) Payne; sisters, Ruby (Paul) Peterson, Betty (Bob) Morris and Elizabeth (Carroll) Zickefoose; 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of friends.
Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, January 27 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with Pastor Ruth Ann Delong officiating. Burial will follow in Boone Memorial Park, Madison.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
