Roy F. Jackson, 77, of Greenview, WV was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 8, 2012.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ida and Gilbert Jackson; also six brothers, Okey, Arley, Roland, Donnie, Oather and Emery.
He was a member of the Greenview Church of Christ and was a retired chemical operator for DayGlo Color Corp.
He was a devoted husband of 47 years to wife, Betty (Craddock) Jackson; a devoted father to Roy Jackson Jr. (Roberta ) of Morgantown, WV, Michael Jackson(Tracy) of Cleveland, OH and Wava Hildabrand (David) of Cleveland, OH; he was a grandfather and great-grandfather; and was a brother-in-law to Richard Craddock of Ripley, WV, brothers at heart. He also had many nieces, nephews and so many loving friends.
Funeral service will be 11 A.M. Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville, WV with Richard Runyon and Cliff Collins officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, Madison WV.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
