Rosa Lynn “Rosie” Linville, age 63, of Foster, West Virginia, went home to be with the Lord on December 21, 2025. She was born on May 17, 1962.

Rosie was a loving mother, aunt, sister, and friend. She was deeply caring and an endlessly giving soul, always willing to give anyone anything they needed without hesitation. A devoted follower of Christ, her faith guided her life and the way she loved others. Rosie was known for her strength, strong will, and giving heart, which brought light to those around her even in difficult times.

She found joy in the simple things—working in her yard, tending to flowers, cooking, and being surrounded by family. Above all else, Rosie loved her family fiercely and unconditionally, and her presence was a source of comfort, warmth, and stability to all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter, Keairra Morris, and son-in-law, Ryan Morris; her son, Hayden Linville; her nieces, Shana Dingess and Shandy Dingess; her great-nephews, Conner Searls and Brixton Hager; her brother, Jeff Dingess; Jerry Linville and Sue Linville (brother- and sister-in-law of her late husband); her cousin, Paula Massey; and many beloved family members in Maryland.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gregory “Frosty” Linville; her mother, Jean Dingess; her father, Troy Dingess; her sister, Linda Dingess; and her brothers, Benny Dingess and Billy Dingess.

Rosie will be deeply missed and forever loved. 

Services for Rosa will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 27, 2025 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial to follow at Orchard Hills Cemetery, Yawkey, WV.
