Ronald Alan Richardson, 67, of Chapmanville, WV, entered into eternal rest on November 13, 2025.

Born in 1958 to the late Forest and Lena Richardson, Ronald lived a life full of love, laughter, and resilience. He was a man who cherished family above all else and carried a quiet strength that touched everyone who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Rahni Natasha Richardson, and several siblings who now welcome him home.

Those left to treasure his memory include his devoted daughter, Trista Richardson, and his precious grandchildren, Patrick Burgess, Lacy Burgess, and Cali Bowman, who were the light of his life. Ronald also leaves behind his loving brothers—Bob, Chester, Tony, of Madison, WV, George of Sacramento, CA, Sonny of DE, and Scotty of Bradenton, FL—and his caring sisters—Dawn, Jean, and Gloria, of Madison, WV. He will be remembered fondly by all of The Russell Family and a host of extended family and dear friends who were blessed by his kindness and humor.

Ronald’s legacy is one of unconditional love, strength through adversity, and a heart that never stopped giving. His laughter, wisdom, and gentle spirit will live on in the stories shared and the memories held close by those who loved him.

Services will be held Saturday, November 22, 2025, 2:00 pm at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV.

Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.

Though he is gone from our sight, he will never be gone from our hearts. May his soul find peace and his memory bring comfort to all who loved him.
