Ronald Scott Cook, 69, of East Lynn, WV went to be with the Lord Friday June 5, 2015. He was a Vietnam veteran and a retired truck driver. He was born February 26 1946 in Lundale, WV, a son of the late Jessie and Cora Cook.
He is the husband of Benita Gaye (Carter) Cook. He is also preceded in death by 6 brothers, Stuart Buster Cook, Robert Lee Cook, Carl Earl Cook, Norman Lee Cook, Bobby Cook, and David Cook; one sister, Deloris Cook; one brother-in-law, Julius Workman and one very special grandson, Bobby Joe Parsons.
In addition to his wife he is survived by three brothers, Raymond, Joe and Jimmy; three sisters, Gladys, Doris and May; five children, Ronald Scott Cook Jr., Thelma Lou Cook, Corina Ann Cook, John William Scott Carter and Monika Deloris Cook. He was a loving grandfather to 12 special grandkids and two great grandkids.
Funeral services will be 3:00pm Monday June 8, 2015 at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home, West Hamlin, WV. The burial will follow in the Parsons Cemetery, Branchland, WV where there will be a military graveside service.
A visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral Monday.
