Roger K. McComas

Roger K. McComas, 47, of 9-mile Rd, Midkiff, WV passed away Tuesday Aug. 31, 2021 at home his wife by his side. He battled cancer for 3 years. He was born Sept. 18, 1973 in West Hamlin, WV, a son of Ronald and Deloris Plumley McComas. He was a 1993 graduate of Guyan Valley High School. He is preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Gay and Juanita McComas; maternal grandparents, Alden and Dorothy Plumley; stepson, Jason Nelson.
Additional survivors include his loving wife, Rebecca McComas; brother, Rush McComas; Stepson Joey (Kyra) Nelson; seven grandchildren, Emilee, Joseph, Lorin, Olivia, Katie, Leah, and Larryn; 2 nephews, 3 nieces, 3 great nephews, 3 great nieces; stepdaughter-in-law, Megan Nelson and a host of family and friends.
Funeral services will be 11:00am Friday Sept. 3, 2021 at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home, West Hamlin, WV. The burial will be in the Lunsford-McComas Cemetery, Midkiff, WV. A visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral.
