Roger Barker, 58, of Madison, WV passed peacefully in Florida August 4, 2017, after a short illness.
He recently gave his heart to the Lord with friends and family by his side. He was principal of Ramage Elementary and loved by everyone. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He also loved his dogs, being outdoors and helping others.
He was preceded in death by his parents Woodie and Daffy Barker, brother Clyde Barker of Arizona and Bobbie Joe Barker of Nellis, and his sisters, Patsy Turley and Betty Dunlap of Nellis.
He is survived by his brother; Ernest Barker of Ohio, and a sister; Mary Dunlap of Nellis.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept 16, 2017 Handley Funeral Home, Danville WV with Pastor Stevie Cox officiating.
