Rodney E. “Moose” Ferrell of Garner, NC was born February 17,1958 in Madison WV and passed away August 25.2022 at his residence.
He was preceded by father and mother Jack E. and Jewell Ferrell; sister Barbara Ballard; paternal grandparents Odell and Arminda Coon; and maternal grandparents Guy and Goldie Price.
He was a graduate of Scott High School, worked for Enpuricon where he made many friends. He was an avid Nascar and WVU Mountaineer fan. Rodney loved spending time with his friends, family, and his dogs Copperhead and Charlie Brown.
Left to cherish his memory, brother in law, Dennie Ballard of Foster; three nieces, Kelly Wilson of Foster, Mary Beth (Earnest) Butcher, and Danielle (Jeromey) Crum both of Chapmanville; three great-nephews, and four great nieces; lifelong friend Jerry Brown; and extra special friends that became his family Tom Brown and Kaye Liles.
Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 5, 2022 at Price Cemetery, Uneeda, WV with Brian Barrett officiating.
