Rodney Darrell Burns, 63, of Seth, WV passed away October 16, 2016 at home after a long illness.
He was a retired coal miner and a member of the UMWA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Buster and Lois Dillon Burns; a son, Adam Burns; and sister, Sherry Selbe.
He is survived by his wife, Thelma; stepson, Matthew Hurley; brothers, Carmon Burns, Eldon Burns and Timmy Burns all of Bob White, and Lawrence Burns of Danville; and sisters, Reda McCormick of Seth and Gay Bratcher.
Graveside service at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Family Gardens, Madison with the Rev. Phil Rowe officiating.
Arrangements by Handley Funeral Home, Danville.
