Robin Renee Watkins, 59, of Peytona, WV was born January 17, 1966 and passed away October 30, 2025.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Stephanie Lea Watkins; her mother Peggy Ann Foster and father William Myles Watkins; sisters Freda Halstead, Shelby Reed, Alberta Toney, Debbie Burgess, and brothers Hubert Watkins and Teddy Watkins.
Robin attended the Turkey Creek Baptist Church in Wilsondale. She obtained her Associates Degree in Business Management from Southern West Virginia Community College.
She is survived by her grandson that she raised after her only daughter passed away, Sebastian Lee Watkins of Winifrede, WV; sisters, Joni (Charlie) Blankenship of Culloden, WV, Melissa Watkins of Zanesville, OH, Patsy (Steve) Kinder of Comfort, WV, Norma (Kevin) Riley of Calhoun County, WV and Janet (Bo) Browning of Orgas, WV; brothers, Mark (Drema) Foster of Emmons, WV, Shaun Foster of Drawdy, WV, Leslie (Lisa) Watkins of New Britain, CT and Harless Watkins of Oak Hill, WV; nieces and nephews that she was like a second mother to: Christy (Doug) Pauley of Winifrede, WV, Shanna (Todd) Perdue of Wilsondale, WV, Joshua (Samantha) Perdue of Winifrede, WV, Mark Foster II of Ashford, WV, Timothy (Katrina) Bishop of Zanesville, OH; nieces and nephews that she grew up with: Becky Edie of Seth, WV, Brian Halstead of Seth, WV, Sherri Kinder Dotson of Comfort, WV, Chris Kinder of Comfort, WV. Huey Watkins of Drawdy, WV;
great nieces and nephews that she considered her grandchildren: Tucker (Jess) Martin of Weston, WV, Hannah Martin of Winifrede, WV, Chelse Atkins of Culloden, WV, Tyler Nelson of Wilsondale, WV, Destanie, Abbigale, Madylihn, Alexandrya, and Kennedy Perdue of Winifrede, WV, Megan Foster of Ashford, WV, Emma Miller of Emmons, WV; and great-great nieces and nephews: Lilliana, CamLynn, Roland, and Aelyn.
The family would like to thank the staff at Hillcrest Healthcare Center where Robin was a resident (as well as a former employee), and also the staff of Kanawha Hospice Care.
Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville with minister George Nelson officiating. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. until service time.
Remember me not when I am gone, but not with sorrow, pain and grief. Think of me as a turning leaf, that in the winter falls from its branch. To be born again in the spring and live forever in your heart.
