Renita Lee Bryant

Renita Lee Baisden Bryant, 54 years old, of Charleston, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 1, 2024. She was preceded in death by her mother, Beverly Baisden of Madison, WV; her father, Freddie Baisden of Florida; grandson, Cole "Bug" Hager of Madison, WV; grandfather, Clarence L. Weaver of Madison, WV; and, grandparents, Junior and Alberta Baisden of Greenview, WV.

Left to cherish her memories are: daughter, Katy (Josh) Cantrell of Charleston, WV; son, Daniel Bryant of Charleston, WV; grandchildren, Jaxon, Donavan, and Dawson Hager of Charleston, WV; brother, Scottie (Michelle) Baisden of South Charleston, WV; grandmother, Juanita Weaver of Madison, WV; niece and nephews, Caleb (Danielle) Baisden of Ridgeview, WV and Bria and Caden Baisden of South Charleston, WV; great-niece, Rebecca Ann Baisden of Ridgeview, WV; aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends.

Renita was an avid reader, loved the outdoors, and fishing. She was a nurse and worked with the Union Mission in the addiction program where she gave so much of herself to help change lives. Once you met Renita, you would never forget her. Over the years, she has touched many, many lives, helping in every way that she could. Most of all, she loved the Lord and her family. Some of her favorite verses were Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 which describes a time for all things. She has been greatly loved and will be greatly missed by many.

Renita's services will be at the Church of God in the Name of Christ Jesus at 1678 Trace Fork Road, Chapmanville, WV. Visitation will be at 5:00 p.m. and service at 6:00 p.m. Pastor Daniel Lane will be officiating. Bro. Jimmy Meade and Sis. Lisa Savage will be the singers. 

Handley Funeral Home in Danville is assisting the family.
