Randall Gene Price, Sr. was born on February 19, 1944, to Garnet and Randall T. Price in Madison, WV. After proudly serving his country in the United States Army, he returned to Madison, where he worked and raised his family.
Randall's profession and passion were masonry and carpentry. He retired from the Boone County Board of Education as a carpenter after many years of dedicated service. Even after retirement, he continued to lend a hand to his family, friends, and extended community, earning him a reputation as the neighborhood go-to handyman. “Cool Breeze” or "Goosey", as he was affectionately known to many, could most often be found outside, either relaxing in his rocking chair or tinkering on a project.
He loved the outdoors and nature, and on any road trip, he would always take the "long way" for the better view. He was a man who enjoyed a good laugh with his family and friends and was always available to lend a helping hand or a listening ear.
Randall passed away on August 4, 2026, at his home, with his wife by his side. He was preceded in death by his parents, Garnet and Randall T. Price; his brother, Marlin Price; his daughter, Odessa Lee Williams; and his first wife, Barbara Williams Price, mother of Ronda and Randall Jr.
He is survived by his loving wife, Angela Price; his children: Ronda Stewart (Christopher), Randall Price, Jr. (Tiffany), Lynx Price (Kari), and Dr. Ariel Price-Johnson (Peter); his grandchildren: Alexa, Jaden, Jordan, Adriana, Marley, Malaika, and Lynx Jr.; his sister, Elsie Price, and brother, Chester Price; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
