Ramona Lynn Branam

     Ramona Lynn Branam, 64, of Florence, SC formerly of Branchland, WV relocated to the streets of glory on April 4, 2024.  Those that went on before and were awaiting her arrival are her parents Kenneth and Eva Dean Adkins, brother, Joel  Wayne Adkins.  Her husband Orville Branam and the light of her eye her only son Scott Branam.   

     The family she left behind is a sister with whom she made her home Linda (Edison Vance) one sister in law Cathy Adkins.  A very special child Ariana Adkins.  Her step mother Doyle Adkins; two step sisters Betty (Will) Porter and Dr. Charlotte (Tom) Frye; step brother Pastor Jack (Heather) Midkiff.  A host of nieces and nephews that she cherished. Ramona was a kind and humble spirited soul that loved family and serving Jesus.  Although she had many health issues it never altered her faith.  She loved to sing God’s praises and left this world singing.

     Funeral services will be 11:00am Friday April 12, 2024 at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home, West Hamlin, WV.  The burial will follow in the Midkiff Cemetery, Branchland, WV.  A visitation will be from 6pm to 8pm Thursday at the funeral home.
