Paul David Black

Paul David Black, 76, of Danville, WV passed away at his home on April 24, 2024.  

He was a retired coal miner at Massey Coal with 42 years and was a Vietnam Army veteran. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Edward Black and Betty Lee Tinsley Black.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Jo Looney Black; daughter, Kerrie Black of Danville, WV grandson; Carson Black of Danville, WV; and sister, Sandra Nestor of Ohio.

Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 29, 2024 at Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Dunbar, WV with Bill Cook officiating.  Military graveside rites will be performed by Daniel Boone VFW Post 5578 of Madison, WV.

Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV is assisting the Black family.
