Patsy Brown Evans

Patsy (Brown) Evans, 71, of Uneeda, West Virginia, passed away March 15, 2021, after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Michael Wayne Evans.

She was born January 10, 1950, to the late Dennis and Kathleen (Carpenter) Brown of Van. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sisters Linda Price (Bob) of Oak Hill; Sandra Dingess (David) of Bob White; and Retta “Susie” Hager of Danville; as well as brothers Larry Brown (Betty) of Barrett, and Douglas Brown (Pam) of Bald Knob.

Patsy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a pharmacy technician at the former Medicine Stop Pharmacy in Uneeda only retiring after 32 years of service. She worshiped at Freedom Baptist Fellowship of Madison and was a member of the fraternal organization, Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 121.

She is survived by her sons Timothy Blair (Jennifer) and Christopher Blair; beloved grandchildren Jamie Blair (Michelle) and Felicia Blair; and two amazing great-grandchildren, Austin Blair of Columbus, Ohio, and T.J. Boss of Oak Harbor, Ohio. She also is survived by brothers Roger Brown (Debora) of Dunbar and Barry Brown (Connie) of Bob White. She was dearly loved by many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 2:00 Friday March 19, 2021, at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, with Wayne McCray and Jack Casey officiating. Burial will follow in Gomez Cemetery in Uneeda.
