Norman Lee Brown, 65, of Clothier passed away November 18, 2016 at CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston, WV.
He was born March 24, 1951 in Madison WV to Charles and Garnett Brown.
He was a retired coal miner and served proudly in the Marine Corp a veteran of Vietnam. He belonged to Spruce Laurel Church.
He is survived by his wife, Linda (Roark) Brown of Clothier; son, Adam (Natalie) Brown of Madison; daughter, Crystal (Gene) Sockman of Virginia Beach; granddaughters, Briana, Jenna and Shana. Family included brother, Charles ( Brenda)Brown of Thomasville,NC, Jessie (Vonda) Littleton of Franklinville, NC, Mary (Danny) Carr of Trinty NC, a host of family and friends.
Service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 22 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with Dempsey Stowers officiating. Burial will follow in Brown Cemetery,at Clothier.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
