Naomi Ruth Hatfield

Naomi Ruth Hill-Hatfield, a past service personnel employee of Boone Co. Schools and a longtime resident of Turtle Creek, WV, entered the pearly gates of Heaven on August 22, 2025 at the age of 91.

She was a long-standing member of Olive Branch Missionary Baptist Church of Turtle Creek, WV.

Naomi was preceded in death by her parents, Julia Bell and Elbert Berry of Turtle Creek, WV; husband, and father of their four children, Harvey Hill; late husband Charles Hatfield; and daughter, JoAnna Cozad.

Naomi is survived by her husband, Ronald Hatfield; daughters Nancy (Bruce) Faulkner, Julia “Libby" (Gary) Silva; son Timothy (Angela) Hill; grandchildren Adrianna (William) Muster, Matthew (Jordan) Faulkner, Traci Linville, Amber (Jereme) Browning, Julia (Timmy) Day, Chandler DeBord, Tyler (Alyssa Stone) Hill, Peyton (Kierra Bartey) Hill; great-grandchildren JW Muster, Jereme (Mariah Vance) Browning, Aayla (Jamison Walker) Browning, Kaylee (Kody Sesco) Nelson, Kadan Nelson, Aalia Browning, Archer Browning, Ridge Day, Cameron Faulkner, and Pyper Faulkner. Naomi was so excited to have recently found out that she was going to become a Great-Great-Grandmother in March 2026. She is also survived by her very special niece, Shelby Hill, and many other nieces, nephews, friends, and family.

Services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 25, 2025 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV, officiated by Jeff Mosteller and Justin Thompson. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial to follow at Memory Gardens in Madison, WV.
