Myra Ann Johnston, 46 of Hamlin WV passed away on Sunday May 11, 2025, at St. Marys Medical Center. She was born on December 21, 1978, in Point Pleasant WV. Myra was employed by LCOC in Hamlin, WV and enjoyed taking care of her patients. Myra is survived by her Best Friend and Husband of over 23 years Bradlee David Johnston. Myra is also survived by her son Bradlee David Johnston JR of Hamlin WV, her Mother Elizabeth “Libby” Walls of West Hamlin WV, one Brother Aaron (Shannon) Cyfers of Griffithsville WV, two very special nieces with whom Myra absolutely adored more than you can imagine Ellie Cyfers and Georgia Grace Cyfers, her Father-in-Law David Johnston and Mother-in-Law Doretta Johnston.

Myra was preceded in death by her Maternal grandparents Buster and Aredith Walls, her aunts Louise Aldridge and Patricia Sue “Patty” Pullen.

Myra loved traveling to Myrtle Beach for vacations, shopping, and spending time with her family. She loved Christmas and decorating her Christmas Tree. She also loved decorating her house for the Christmas Season. She loved to travel on weekend trips to various Nascar Races and Pittsburgh Steelers Games. She was an avid fan of The Pittsburgh Steelers, West Virginia University, and Hendrick Motorsports Kyle Larson. Myra loved Music of all genres especially 80’s and 90’s Rock and Roll. She was a member of the Lincoln Church of God at West Hamlin WV.

Myra had a exceptional personality and a Heart of Gold. She will be forever cherished and missed by everyone who knew her.

Funeral Services for Myra will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday May 17, 2025, at Handley Funeral Home in Hamlin, WV with Rev. Lonnie Wilson officiating. Burial to follow at Johnston Family Cemetery, Branchland, WV. Visitation will be held on Friday May 16, 2025, at Handley Funeral Home in Hamlin, WV from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
