Mildred Caroline Parsons

Mildred Caroline Parsons of Branchland, WV was born on August 16, 1936 and passed away on January 12, 2022 at the age of 85 years 4 months and 27 days. She is the daughter of the late Everett and Della Mae Dean Adkins. She was also preceded in death by an infant son Donny Parsons; four brothers, Ollie Adkins, Denver Adkins, Everett Adkins Jr. and Jasper Adkins; five sisters, Allie Stidhams, Delma Dyer, Martha Courts, Myrtle Brumfield and Edna Toney. She was a member of the Upper Ten Mile United Baptist Church.
She is survived by nine children, Mark Parsons, Bo (Donna) Parsons, Penny (Keith) Hale, Barry (Connie) Parsons, Mike (Debbie) Parsons, Marcy (Joe) Miller, Bobby (Pam) Parsons, Barbara (Donald) Flowers, and Sherry Hager, all of Branchland, WV; 18 grandkids, 30 great grandkids, and 3 great great grandkids and one great grandbaby on the way.
Funeral services will be 11:00am Saturday January 15, 2022 at Upper Ten Mile United Baptist Church, Branchland, WV with Rev. Timmy Davis and Preacher Ronnie Lambert officiating. Interment will follow in the Warrick Cemetery, Branchland, WV. A visitation will be after 6:00pm Friday January 14, 2022 at the church. McGhee-Handley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
