Melvin Wayne Morrison, 72, of Griffithsville, WV passed away Sunday, February 20, 2022 at home with his family by his side.
He was an employee of Cedar Coal Company. He was a business owner of Mr. Video and retired from Orkin Pest Control.
He was preceded in death by his father Oulbert Morrison and mother Carrie Morrison.
He is survived by his lifelong companion, Sherry L. Morrison; son Christopher Wayne Morrison of Griffithsville, WV; daughter, Trinity L. (Michelle) Blankenship of Lexington, KY; pet, Wallace Morrison; brother, Sam (Wanda) Morrison of Dade City, FL; sister, Dana Evans of Griffithsville, WV; aunt, Maggie Taylor of Orgas, WV; aunt and uncle, Jack and Naomi Morrison of PA; special friends, Clayton and Libby Alford Henson and Cary Harless; and a host of other family and friends.
A graveside mausoleum service will be held at Noon on Thursday, February 24 at Pineview Cemetery, Orgas, WV. with Donnie Pauley and Trinity Blankinship officiating.
Handley Funeral Home in Danville is assisting the family.
