She was preceded in death by her father, Chuckie; brother, Andy; sister, Betty; and two nieces.
She is survived by her children: Shane, Hunter, and Alyson; mother, Jenny Holstein; and brother, Justin.
A memorial service for Melissa will be held on a later date.
