Melinda Diane Harvey

Melinda Diane Lucas-Harvey, 31, of Milton, WV, passed away on May 23, 2026. Melinda was born on November 11, 1994.

Melinda was a part of a huge family, that include parents Matilda Harvey (Barry Toppings) and Jake Harvey; two siblings: Wondel Harvey (Brittany Harvey), Katrina Swope (Bobby Swope) and an amazing nephew Noah Swope; fiancé, Owen Lucas Sr., and children Teanna, Jada, and Owen Lucas Jr. Also including a sister of the family, Grace Browning (Bradley Browning).

Melinda was always full of life. You never knew if she had a bad day because she was always smiling. I know you are dancing in the sky with Tyler. Rest in peace beautiful.

Funeral services will be held AT 11 a.m., on Friday, May 29, 2026, at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home, West Hamlin, WV. Burial will follow to Harvey Cemetery, Branchland, WV. Mike Abshire will be officiating the service. Visitation will be one hour prior at 10 a.m.
