Matthew Keith Wood 45 of Woodville, WV went to be with the Lord on March 1, 2016 after a long struggle with juvenile diabetes.
Matthew was a loving father and husband who cherished his family. Matt had a kind and giving heart and will be forever missed by his extended family as well as a host of friends.
Matt was born January 13, 1971 to Jerry and Kay Wood of Julian.
Survivors include his bereaved wife Kari Wood, of Woodville, precious daughter Riley Jo, brothers; James of Bomont, and Jon (Krista) of Julian and sister; Megan Collins (Lindsey) of Birch River.
Service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, March 3, Olive Baptist Church, Julian with Pastor Jimmy Lawrence officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
